Anglers in the Park Rapids area have mostly been on hiatus this week.
Only a couple of large, deep lakes still have boat access and the vast majority of the lakes DO NOT have walkable ice.
If you do find a small, wind protected lake with a minimum of 4 inches of ice to walk upon, please exhibit extreme caution as inconsistent ice thickness is very common and dangerous, especially during the earliest part of the ice season.
