Walleye fishing in the park rapids area has been really good.
Many big fish and nice catches of big Walleyes as well. Look for the Walleyes to be in the 15-30 ft range in most lakes. Live bait rigs and leeches have been productive. Crappies are feeding heavily on weedy flats near shore in the 6-10 ft range.
A small jig and a white twister tail will do the trick. Bluegills are in the shallows yet. Look for them in the 2-5 ft range near spawning areas. Please release all fish over 9”.
