What to Expect

This adventure will take you from the sweeping views of Big Detroit Lake to downtown Park Rapids along the beautiful Lake Country Scenic Byway. After a quick stop in Detroit Lakes, you will head to the gorgeous Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge. You can take in the beauty of the fall season as you wind through the trees watching the trumpeter swans and bald eagles. From there, you will hop back on to the scenic byway and head to Park Rapids for lunch at The Good Life Cafe and shopping in downtown Park Rapids. End this adventure with a visit to Red Bridge Park, where you can wind down and take in the art along the Sculpture Trail before either heading home or continuing on the scenic byway!
