If you can brave the cold, the walleye bite surrounding Park Rapids is HOT!!
Jig/minnow combos or live bait rig/minnow combos are both top choices.
Florescent Orange or Green have been the top colors.
Rainbow chubs, small suckers, or red tails have all been boating fish.
Look for fish along the bottom of breaks that level off to the lake basin.
These depths can be anywhere from 30-50 ft. Another option is simply fish along the deep weed line in the 15-25 ft. range.
For nighttime action troll pearl white cranks over the shallow rocks or just outside river inlet/currant areas in the 7-10’ range.
