Fishing in the Park Rapids area is heating up
Walleyes are being caught in the 13-17 ft range on many area lakes using night crawlers and jigs. Rainbow chubs are also working well on any live bait rig. Northern Pike can be caught be casting or trolling spinner baits over the tops of weed flats in the 6-12 ft range. Chartreuse has been a hot color. Long line trolling small 1/16 oz. jigs along the top edge of the weed line has been picking up crappies. A white 2” Gulp twister tail has been productive.
