Winners of the winter-spring Park Rapids Downtown Business Association (PRDBA)
photo contest are Brad Lee, Mike Sheeran and Barbra Wicks, all of Park Rapids.
This was the PRDBA’s 20th contest.
Lee’s photo, Great Blue Heron, won in the Wildlife category and was taken at Fish
Hook Lake. Sheeran’s winning photo, Secret Spot, won in the Main Street Scenes
category. Wicks’ winning photos were Fish On taken at Mud Lake, winner in the
Recreation category, and Evening’s End, Lake Emma, winning in the Area Lake Scenes
category.
Max Bailey Photography sponsors the contest and awards a professionally finished,
11X14-inch mounted picture of the winning photograph in each category.

Photo submissions are now being accepted for the summer-fall contest, again being
sponsored by Max Bailey Photography. Amateur and professional photographers are
welcome to participate. Contest rules, guidelines and the photo entry form are available
on the website. The submission deadline is November 30, 2020.
The contest is intended to capture and celebrate the beauty and unique character of
Park Rapids and the surrounding area.
