Fishing has been super in the Park Rapids area.
Many good catches of Walleye and Crappie have been had by my clients all day long. Crappies are just off the weed lines in 12-15 ft of water and can be caught slowly trolling small white jigs tipped with a minnow. The Walleyes are being caught off of shallow weed lines in the 9-12 ft range using spinners or crank baits in perch colors.
Deeper Fish are also being caught using jigging Rapalas worked over deep sunken points or jumps in the 25-40 ft range.
