Fishing around the Park Rapids area is awesome.
Walleyes are hitting pearl white crankbaits trolled along the shallow weed edges in the 10 ft range.
Pike are eating chartreuse spinner baits slowly rolled through deep weed beds in the 15 ft range.
Bluegills are schooled heavily on the deep weed lines and are being caught using lindy rigs and a small leech.
Suspended Crappies can be found about 10-12 ft down over 20-30 ft of water just off the weed lines and are chomping on 2” white twister tails on a 1/16 oz. jig using the countdown method.
Perch can be found on shallow weedy flats in the 6-10 ft range trolling/ long lining spinners tipped with a night crawler just below the surface.
