Locate public lands in the palm of your hands with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Mobile Recreation Compass. See where you are in relation to Minnesota’s 5.5 million acres of state and federal public lands, as well as nearly 3,000 public boat launches and canoe routes.
After allowing the site to access your location, users can click on state parks, trails and water accesses to get directions and information on facilities, activities, events and contact info. Click on a lake to learn what species may be found there. Hunters can find wildlife management areas and walk-in access hunting grounds, and hikers can see themselves as a dot traversing the map. Regional parks are also identified by name and location.
