Last year the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism asked to see your summer fun pictures and wow did you deliver. This year we want to know: What makes Heartland Lakes home?
Heartland Lakes is the area from Osage to Akeley and Itasca State Park to Menahga, including Park Rapids, Nevis, Dorset, Lake George and everywhere in between. Show and tell us why you live, work and play here. Pictures will be judged on composition and how well they answer; what makes Heartland Lakes home? This contest is not restricted to summer, so bring on your spring, fall and winter pictures too. Steve Heriot from Heriot Creative will again be lending us his expertise and picking the winners.
Enter by sending your pictures to chamber@parkrapids.com or by sending in your submissions through our website form below. Stories about your pictures are encouraged but not mandatory. You can enter more than once. Any photos may be used on social media or chosen to be in the 2020 Discovery Guide (with accreditation).
The submission deadline is August 16th. First prize wins $250 Chamber Bucks to spend like cash at any Chamber Member’s business. Second place receives $100 and third wins $50 in Chamber Bucks. Winners will be announced at our Annual Meeting, September 24.
