Dorset

Gateway to the Mantrap Chain of Lakes, Dorset was platted in 1899. Dorset had two saloons, a general store, a church and a Great Northern Railway station. Today, visitors come from all over the world to stroll down Dorset's famous boardwalks and enjoy the "restaurant capital of the world." With more restaurants per capita than any city in the United States, Dorset naturally hosts a Taste of Dorset celebration.
