The Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce posts dates and information about events in our area on an ongoing basis. Our calendars list community events, festivals, Chamber meetings and events and other happenings to keep residents and visitors informed. No one needs a special invitation; just show up. Chamber Event Committees

The volunteers and staff of the Chamber have vast experience in organizing events and can be a great source of knowledge. Volunteers make a difference by joining a committee or event, sharing their ideas, and letting their voice be heard, thus "making it happen" in the Park Rapids Lakes Area.

Members and their employees are invited to be part of the action by getting involved.

Jingle Bells Sweepstakes Committee

This Committee coordinates all event details for the annual Jingle Bells Holiday Sweepstakes and Gala Drawing Celebration every December.

Christmas Tree Lighting & Yuletide Sampler Event in Downtown Park Rapids

Every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving, Park Rapids heralds in the Christmas Holiday with a Community Christmas Tree Lighting, Choir and carols, and the merchants offer free food and beverage to warm the heart.  Visitors always comment that Downtown Park Rapids is like a Hallmark Card during the holidays. Our 40 ft. community Christmas tree glows brightly as carolers sing in the holidays. Santa is always on hand too!

4th of July Committee

Park Rapids is the Place to be on the 4th of July.  The 4th of July Parade Committee coordinates the Annual Park Rapids Parade in its entire patriotic splendor.
