Park Rapids Welcomes the Return of Shoptoberfest

fall in park rapids mn

Fall has returned to Minnesota. Leaves are changing colors, the air is getting chilly (perhaps more quickly than some of us would like) and pumpkin spice reigns supreme. Another thing that returns this October is Shoptoberfest!

Shoptoberfest is a special event that takes place throughout the month of October. Each participating store in Downtown Parks Rapids will create their own October festive fun from sale items to treats and games. Shoppers will be able to pick up a Shoptoberfest Passport to be stamped and entered into drawings for gift certificates.

Complete your Shoptoberfest passport and you may have a chance to win a $100 gift certificate. Completed Passports will be drawn for five $100 gift certificates and placed in a second chance drawing. The second chance drawing of completed and 50 percent completed Passports will award 20 $25 gift certificates.

The drawings will be held Friday, Nov. 2. Participating businesses are listed in the Passports and will have posters on their doors. You do not need to make a purchase at each store to receive a stamp or signature.
