Saturday, October 27
Fall Festival and Pumpkin Party
Saturday is the last day to celebrate the fall harvest and have lots of pumpkin fun at Carter’s Red Wagon Farm. Carter’s Red Wagon Farm is west of Park Rapids off of 34. Just follow the signs for fall fun.
Skate in costume as help break in the ice! There may be some ice skates available for use. There’s also a meal deal, get a hotdog, chips and drink for $3 during spooky skate.
Portage Brewing Halloween Party – Costume + Chili Contest
It’s your classic Halloween costume party AND a chili cookoff! Costume judging at 8 PM.
Iron Horse Halloween Party & Costume Contest
Food and drink specials plus spooky Halloween fun! DJ Ntertainment will be rocking the house until 1 AM. Sober rides are available, ask your servers for details.
Halloween Party at Clancy’s at Vacationaire
Halloween at Clancy’s means free juke box and $2 Domestics and rails. Costume contest starts at 9 PM and ends at midnight.
Wednesday, October 31
Try a new beer made with ancho chilis, cinnamon, toasted cacao nibs and vanilla. Released at their Walker taproom in Walker around noon. Available in cans at various locations.
Trick or Treat Downtown Park Rapids & Heritage Living Center
Trick or Treat in Downtown Park Rapids from 4-6, then stop by Heritage Living Center around 6 before the candy is gone! The Rotary will be downtown too, collecting nonperishable food items or donations for the Hubbard County Food Shelf.
Take the kids trick or treating inside and avoid the cold. Kids 12 and under can wander around 3 different locations in Walker, Cass Lake or Deer River.
Spooky food specials (blackberry curry wings anyone?) and candy bar bingo! Plus they’ll be showing some Halloween films, family friendly to eerie thrillers. Wear a costume and win beer!
